Twint adds new functions, but inspires many cyberattacks – Le Temps

Twint introduces a new feature: it is now possible to store Cumulus, Migros, or Coop Supercard loyalty cards directly in the app, making checkout easier for users.

This initiative enhances Twint’s appeal, already among the most popular apps in the country with over 5 million users.

However, due to its ease of use, Twint is increasingly targeted by repeated attacks leading to significant financial losses for some users. It is high time for the app to implement additional layers of security and take responsibility for protecting its users.
